Ultra High Purity (SiLQ) Nebulizers
Ultra High Purity (SilQ) nebulizers have the lowest dead volume design currently available. The low dead volume and high sensitivity design enables the user to analyze an extremely small amount of sample with high reproducibility and precision. Each Ultra High Purity (SilQ) nebulizer comes with the FitKit+ gas and sample quick connect fittings. The connections are made with high-purity PFA, minimizing the chance of contamination during backflow events. The gas connection fits snugly over the maria on the sidearm of the nebulizer.
Plus Series in Quartz and Glass
Like the SilQ, these nebulizers feature the high-sensitivity Type A nozzle but incorporate a low dead volume internal capillary to minimize wash-in and wash-out times and to facilitate the analysis of small sample volumes. The TR+ and TQ+ can be pumped at less than 100 uL/min to more than 1 mL/min, though the natural aspiration rate is 500 uL/min at 50 psi (3.4 bar). Each TQ+ and TR+ includes the high-purity FG gas connection and the F2-50 liquid connection in PFA.
High Sensitivity (Type A) Nebulizers
The High Sensitivity (Type A) nebulizer is perfect for applications that require ultra-high sensitivity. This nebulizer has a capillary that is flush with the end of the nozzle, meaning the sample does not have to traverse any dead space between the end of the capillary and the spray chamber. Applications for the High Sensitivity (Type A) nebulizers include microsamples and low flow rate procedures.
High Solids (Type C) Nebulizers
High Solids (Type C) nebulizers are specially designed to handle samples with high solids concentrations. The fire-polished, rounded nozzle and recessed capillary diminishes the chances of solids build up and prevents clogging. This nebulizer can handle any sample with high total dissolved solids content, from seawater to soil samples to organic solvents.
Low-Flow (Type K) Nebulizers
Low-flow (Type K) nebulizers are specially designed to handle samples containing high solids with a lower argon flow rate (0.7 L/min). The recessed capillary diminishes the chances of solids build up and prevents clogging. This nebulizer can handle any sample with high total dissolved solids content that are in microvolume, from seawater to soil samples to organic solvents.
Microflow (Type N) Nebulizers
The MEINHARD High Efficiency Nebulizer (HEN) is ideal for microsample analysis. It exhibits detection limits comparable to those of a standard MEINHARD® nebulizer while consuming 25 times less sample. The HEN functions reliably at liquid flow rates from 5 to 500 μL/min. With a barrel length of 45 mm and an o.d. of 6 mm, the HEN fits most common spray chambers. The MEINHARD HEN is available in both quartz and borosilicate glass.
Direct Injection High Efficiencey (DIHEN) Nebulizers
The DIHEN is a pneumatic microconcentric nebulizer designed to introduce micro-volumes of sample solutions directly into an ICP or ICPMS plasma, without a spray chamber. Applications for DIHEN include ultratrace isotope and elemental analysis of sample types that are of limited volume, toxic, or expensive, or that exhibit speciation interferences that cause transport efficiency issues in conventional spray chambers. DIHEN can introduce microvolumes into plasmas at 1- 100 µL/min, with relatively small aerosol droplet size, and with nearly 100% use of the sample.
HF Resistent Nebulizers
MEINHARD's HF-resistant nebulizers use ultra-pure PFA and polypropylene material to ensure clean samples and long nebulizer lifetime. The construction is chemically resistant, making it ideal for use with organic solvents and strong alkalis and acids. The nebulizers include gas lines and a fitting kit to connect to specific instruments.
Connectors
Elemental Scientific introduces the PFA F4 FitKit Quick Connects, a variation of the FG gas and sample fitting system for MEINHARD® Plus nebulizers. The F4 gas connection forms a tight seal over the maria on the sidearm of the MEINHARD® nebulizers, while allowing for quick push-in fitting attachment with 4mm gas lines. F4 offers the same benefits of an easy-to-use quick connect with snap function while maintaining high purity for sensitive ICP and ICPMS applications.
Nebulizer FitKits
Fit Kits by MEINHARD are designed to create clean connections that minimize sample dead volume. Made from ultra-pure PFA, the connections form a tight seal over the sample input ensuring that even the smallest of microsamples have a high transport efficiency rate. MEINHARD also offers the FG+ gas connection. This quick connection is also high-purity PFA and is designed to fit snugly over the maria on the sidearm of all MEINHARD nebulizers.
pergo Argon Nebulizer Gas Humidifier
The pergo Argon Nebulizer Gas Humidifier is designed for use in ICP analyses dealing with high concentrations of dissolved solids. Low-pressure and temperature-controlled operation provides an unmatched level of safety and stability, leading to uninterrupted analyses and maintenance-free operation.
Cleaners
The greatest threats to all concentric, pneumatic nebulizers are the entry of fibres and dust, and the formation of solid precipitates or crystals in the gas orifice. When a nebulizer is stored it should be clean and dry - and fitted with the soft plastic caps provided.
