Laboratory presses

Laboratory presses are an essential tool for producing transparent KBr/sample tablets for analysis by IR or XRF spectroscopy. The press exerts the necessary pressure on the evacuable die containing the sample/KBr mixture. We offer a range of six presses manufactured in Germany: 15 and 25 ton, analog and digital and 5 and 25 ton motorized models. The resolution of the analog presses is 0.25 t for the 15 ton model and 0.5 t for the 25 ton type. Both digital presses have a 0.01 t resolution. The generously dimensioned width and headroom enable usage both with small and large dies, whereby overloading of the hydraulics is avoided by the piston stroke limiter. For the digital presses an optional pressure limitation valve is available that can be set to the operating limits of the die being used.

Operator safety is paramount and is provided by impact-resistant, polycarbonate safety guards.
