IR windows

Rectangular and circular, drilled and undrilled - IR-crystals made of AgBr, AgCl, BaF2, CaF2, Csl, KBr, KCl, KRS-5, MgF2, NaCl, SiO2, ZnS and ZnSe

IR windows are commonly used in FTIR spectroscopy as well as in medical, thermal imaging and FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) systems. When choosing windows, the transmission range, mechanical and chemical characteristics are the most important criteria.

 

Please note: KBr, KCl and NaCl are extremely hygroscopic and must be kept in a completely dry atmosphere.
