These lamps emit mainly at 254 nm, the monchromatic Hg resonance line.
The Heraeus Noblelight NK 4/4 low-pressure lamp was developed for use in analytical instruments. Some example application areas are:
Photometers, fluorimeters, densitometers, detection of mercury gases, sterilisation, radical formation in aqueous solutions and in air, polarimeters, refractometers and ionisation.
