High Purity Standards (HPS)


High Purity Standards (HPS) was founded in 1990 by the internationally renowned chemist Dr. Theodor Rains following his retirement from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) after 25 years of service. The company moved to it's current premises in Charleston, South Caroline and employs more than 40 people in production, quality control and logistics.

 

Quality and Certification: HPS meets and exceeds the following industry quality standards created by the International Organization for Standardization and ist certified and accredited by the following independent agencies:

  • Certified by Perry Johnson Registrars to ISO 9001-2015
  • Accredited by ANAB to ISO/IEC 70125-2005 and ISO 17034:2016. You can find more information here.
