Quality and Certification

Compliance with ISO standards

High-Purity Standards understands a comprehensive quality system is key to our customers’ confidence in the products that we manufacture. That’s why we developed our Total Quality System with the help and assessment of an independent agency to meet the requirements of three separate ISO standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and ISO 17034:2016.

Comprehensive product testing

At High-Purity Standards, being called a Certified Reference Material requires extensive testing including:

  • Certified Value Assignment
  • Batch homogeneity testing - for each lot
  • Long-term and short-term stability testing

NIST Traceability

For inorganic standards, the scope of HPS ISO Guide 34 certificates has been limited only to those products that can be validated against the NIST Standard Reference Material 3100 series. This validation process meets the requirements established by NIST for maintaining direct NIST traceability.

Where NIST Standard Reference Materials do not exist, HPS uses second sources provided by reputable CRM suppliers to provide an independent validation of products. Consequently, the certificate for these products will not include the ISO Guide 34 icon. HPS distinguishs between Certificates of Analysis by only placing icons on products that pass the most rigorous testing for traceability.

Certificates of Analysis

Each CofA provides detailed and specific information as to the extensive analysis behind the manufacturing of each product. HPS uses the best practices throughout this process. Should you encounter a discrepancy or concern, please contact us.
